Westward Movement
  Pioneer Life - A Thinkfinity website with student-created pages related to pioneer life and experiences.  This site includes hardships the pioneers faced, what their lives were like, a quiz, references, and activities.  

  Westward Expansion - This website provides numerous resources to explore what it meant to be a pioneer between 1840 -1890, as people began to move west to what many believed to be a land of opportunity, to California, Oregon, and Washington.

Pathways of the Pioneers - A website created by Idaho public television, chronicles the events and significance of the Oregon Trail, as it was a part of the Westward Expansion of the United States.  It includes interviews of historians and brief videos about the Oregon Trail and important places along the trail.
